No. You do not need a referral to see a physiotherapist in Ontario. However, some insurance plans require a referral for reimbursement, so we recommend checking with your provider.

Wear comfortable clothing that allows you to move and makes the area being assessed easy to access. For example, bring or wear shorts for a knee or lower-leg assessment.

Most extended health plans include physiotherapy coverage. We’ll provide you with a receipt to submit to your insurance provider or you can keep for tax purposes.

Payment is due at the end of your appointment. We accept credit card, e-transfer or cash and you’ll receive an emailed receipt for insurance or tax purposes.

We require at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Late cancellations and missed appointments are charged the full appointment fee.

Your physiotherapist will discuss your concerns, assess your movement and symptoms, and develop a treatment plan tailored to your goals. You will also receive your first treatment and be sent home with exercises to complete.
